I got the lengua & birria tacos. The lengua was on point and the green sauce is !! The birria lacked flavor snd was extremely greasy and the consume lacked flavor and was just grease. All in all i definitely will be back to try some other stuff!

My partner and I came in to try something new. We were pleasantly surprised to find the choices of meat included Lengua (beef tongue) as well as barbacoa. The sauces were absolutely amazing each with a distinct flavor profile but the pineapple sauce was my favorite of the three. All had flavor and even the spicy one was a pleasant heat. Will definitely return to try more of their food!

Really recommend the beef tongue taco! The tortillas for the tacos are handmade. Staff was very friendly! The quesadilla comes with lots of the meat, not like other places that give too much cheese.

This is visit four for me, and we will be back for many more. Thoughtfulness and care are shown in the way the food and drinks are made, from the fresh, hand made tortillas to the handcrafted margaritas. The menu is simple, with just a few options, but the flavors are complex and wonderful. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

December 16, 2023 - Tacos N Beer taqueria is a quaint little Mexican cuisine cafe on West Main in downtown Decatur. It has a specific, limited menu of freshly made food. We ate there last night. It will not be our last visit. Everything was made on the spot and delivered up hot and delicious. From the chips and guacamole to the street tacos and burritos, it was all a Five Star meal. The staff is friendly and interactive. Stop by today!

Tacos N Beer ! My cousin and I stopped downtown Decatur to visit Ramon and try some of his authentic flavors at Tacos N Beer. Jason went with the steak burrito while I tried the Papa's Loco.... a bed of waffle fries covered with protein of choice (i also did the steak) and then drizzled with bbq sauce and.sour cream. A very unique dish..but tasty. Ramon also offers a number of "bowls" which are also an interesting twist. Yum ! The margaritas were also awesome. I tried their smokey sunset, which contains The quality of the tequila is top notch ! I am looking forward to return trips, as well as some of the exciting promotions that are planned (e.g. a Mexican themed street festival next May and a tequila tasting over the winter. Wow. This restaurant has got to be the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Homemade is the theme. Birria, al pastor, all their tacos made with fresh marinade, meats and garnishes. Tortillas made several times daily in batches, agua dulce flavors vary (I had a delicious pineapple) because they make it so often, horchata, and even dessert is homemade (I had tres leche flan - such a unique and decadent spin! I’m not a photographer, but the pic is below!). I could go on, but because everything is so fresh, they will have some surprises for you when you go in and should try all of them yourself like I did.
